Most of this summer has been filled with party animals and the great outdoors.
And no, I don't mean sitting pool side and crazy summer shenanigans.
I wish that was the only worries I had, lets be honest.
This is my typical day as a Group Sales intern at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
And this weekend has been nothing short of busy.
I spent Friday evening babysitting, bringing in some much needed moo-la.
(Hence my post "6 Things Babysitting Has Taught Me")
Since I do have an internship that I'm dedicating most of my time to,
I didn't really put forth effort to find a part-time job.
Definitely regretting that decision lately, but I'm getting through. (Barely.)
Thank you gas for being over $4 in Cincinnati, no mucho gusto.
----
Saturday started off with a lazy morning and lunch with my dad.
If you're ever in Cincinnati, and need a good/quick breakfast or early lunch,
go to Bruegger's Bagels downtown.
And then off to life as an Event Coordinator I went!

I don't believe it's a Cincinnati only bagel shop, but it's an amazing quick stop downtown..
That isn't Starbucks.
I highly recommend the Herby Turkey bagel sandwich on an everything or onion bagel.
With a San Pellegrino on the side.
And then off to life as an Event Coordinator I went!
Having this opportunity to work at the Cincinnati Zoo has been
A-MAZ-ING.
Obviously, with an internship, you're going to have good and off days,
but this weekend brought some amazing encounters for me, and I couldn't be more excited!
I got to witness a private viewing of the Cheetah Run show featured at the zoo for the first time!
If you ever visit the Cincinnati zoo and have the opportunity to see the show,
you definitely need to see it. It's such a treat!
They featured two cheetahs on Saturday for the show.
(The top picture is Savanna and bottom is Nia)
But they also brought out a few other animals for display,
including a Red River Hog proudly named Sir Francis Bacon and
Pow Wow, a breed of German Shepard that's common in Africa to protect animals from wild cheetahs.
Sadly, I did not get a picture of the best animal experience I had on Saturday..
where I got to meet Lucy, the zoo's Bearcat!
(Go UC Bearcats whoop whoop)
I'll definitely have to get a picture next time around.
----
Today, Sunday, was also filled with some internship duties,
starting super early in the morning.
But I don't really mind today.
(One reason being I got my Starbucks extra ice, extra caramel macchiato)
But the main reason being..
Today, June 22nd, 2014, is Fletcher and I's 2 year anniversary.
Insert cute picture here.
This is the most recent picture I have of us.
(I've now realize we don't take many together and plz don't judge the hair.)
But yup, two years its been.
Congrats to him for sticking by my side that long, no one else has been able to accomplish that.
I'm so thrilled he will be coming to visit me in one short week!
We've had ups and we've had downs,
but I couldn't imagine my life without this fella.
He makes me believe in myself, feel confident and beautiful, and likes me for me.
He doesn't judge me for my over-wearing of norts and a size-too-big t-shirts,
we can have fun doing anything (including days when we do nothing but watch Netflix),
and he has opened my eyes to Hot Munchies and Chickfila breakfast.
He legitimately has become my best friend.
And I hope to keep it that way for many for years to come.
I love you, FletchTopper.

Apologizes for the fairly lengthy post.
But obviously I've had a pretty busy weekend, and it has definitely been a decent one.
But to tell you the truth, I cannot wait for my day off Monday to lay by the pool and catch some rays!
Until next time,
