So, to put it lightly,
my day has been terrible.
You know how they say bad things happen in threes?
Well, mine apparently happens in tens or more.
Everyone has off days,
they come with life.
And I constantly have to remind myself
that it's not a bad life, just a bad day.
But this not-so-good Wednesday has led me to think about my future.
Weird? Yeah I know.
But I had thoughts of starting my senior year, graduating in May, and starting over afterwards.
And what come's along with a new beginning..
a new location.
That's truly what my heart and soul craves right now.
I want a beach, city life, new eateries and shopping experiences, and just new.
And you know what else this entitles?
A new home.
A place of comfort.
A place that fat Princess Izzy loves, of course.
So for my Wish List, I thought I'd share some of my dream home inspirations.
Having big dreams and goals can sometimes be overwhelming.
But having pictures in your mind of what you want to achieve,
can make it easier to remind yourself that you can do it.
And that you ultimately can change your situation.
I hope you love my dream house ideas,
because God knows I'm truly in love.
----
1.) The Perfect Foundation
Obviously I know right out of college,
this won't be the place I get to call home.
But a beautiful, white mansion with a wrap around deck is what I see myself eventually residing in.
Gotta dream big, right?
2.) Pool Life is the Best Life
I want (need) a pool in my future life for a couple of reasons:
1.) I live by my motto: If you can't tone it, tan it.
2.) I want an awesome entertainment location.
3.) A trophy wife momma has to have a place for the kids to occupy themselves.
4.) If I don't have a beach, a decent substitute.
3.) A Reading Spot
When I'm not jam-packed busy with
classes, projects, sorority life, and work,
reading is my getaway.
(Still on book 4 of 10 this summer, ugh.)
But I need a place where I can continue this love of mine.
And I kind of hope it makes my future family adopt reading into their lifestyles.
4.) My Office
With the career path of advertising and marketing,
along with hopefully keeping up my blog as my life continues on,
I know I'm going to need a space to keep all my duties organized.
I want something clean, pretty, and just me.
I really dig these examples.
5.) A Perfect Place to Rest My Head
When the day is all said and done,
especially days like this,
I need a place to take off my pants, crawl under the big comforter and lots of pillows,
(those are my favorite, if you didn't know)
and fall asleep with Izzy purring beside me.
I want a big bed and monograms would be a fabulous touch.

Here's a quote that genuinely describes how I'm feeling:
"I am homesick for a place I am not sure even exist.
One where my heart is full. My body loved. And my soul understood."
I've never felt as if I've had that,
and I think it's something I need to eventually achieve in order to be happy.
I'm ready for change, and this is my sort of motivation.
Hope your Wednesday was productive and good.
And as always,
until next time,
