Weekend Round Up: Thoughtful

Instead of doing my regular Weekend Round Up this Sunday,
I thought I'd do something a little bit differently,
for a couple of reasons.

1. My entire week was jammed packed with fun stuff,
and didn't want to write a novel and bore y'all.
(And I couldn't choose just a few to share!)
2. Do you ever get in those moods where you just
can't be in a good mood? That's me today.
3. This blog was created in an attempt to get me to
share more about how I'm feeling and what I'm thinking.

So that's how I want to share my Weekend Round Up with you guys.
Instead of gushing about the amazing week I had,
(let me tell you, it was one I should be gushing over)
I thought I would take this as an opportunity to share some thoughts I had this weekend instead.
My mind is constantly churning and over thinking,
so getting some thoughts down might help to take some pressure off.
And honestly, when you're in a not-so-good mood,
getting you feelings out makes everything better in the long run.
I always have to remind myself of that one.

But enough rambling.. here we go.

1.) Distance makes the heart grow fonder.
You never truly appreciate what you have in your life until it's not within reach.
It makes you realize how much you love and are comfortable with where you are,
and makes you even more grateful for what you have.
This summer has been a true test of my heart and the strength of my trust.

2.) Breakfast is the best meal to share with someone.
Whether it's fine dining brunch, a home cooked meal, or a trip to your local WaHo,
waking up and sharing an early meal is something that I adore.
Who wouldn't be excited about sitting down with someone special,
and eating waffles and hash browns?
Think about it.

3.) I truly have no confidence in myself.
As much as I like to think I need to fake it until I make it,
I just can't fake it anymore.
I've never been happy with myself.
Not just in looks, weight, and other physical traits, but in my way of life as well.
College has helped me find who I am,
but I still haven't grown comfortable yet.
I'm working on it everyday though, hoping for a grand result.

4.) I want to try new things.
Whether that means going extreme as getting over my fear of flying,
and taking a trip I never thought I would,
or just simply watching a movie that doesn't look like one I would normally would,
I want to venture out.
I'm sick of worrying about money, pleasing people, and not being happy because of it.
I only live once, right?
That's the motto.

----

Sorry for the sappiness.
But like I said, it's good to get feelings down every once in a blue moon.

But just incase, here's a picture of an adorable kitten.

Just incase you were wondering,
looking up pictures of cute kitty cats,
along with binge Netflix-athons, Pinterest, online shopping, and eating carbs,
are just the tricks to cheering me up!

So that's obviously my plans for today.

Hope your Sunday is wonderful.
Until next time,
