Weekly Roundup

It seems forever since I last sat down and blogged.
I apologize about being so MIA these past couple of days.
But that's good because I have lots to inform you all about!

Are you ready?
(I don't think you are.)

To start off...
I'm officially twenty wonderful.

That's right, it was my birthday weekend.
I can't believe another year (and summer) has gone by.
Thank you to everyone that made it special for me,
you all are true blessings in my life and I couldn't be more grateful.

----

Last Wednesday, I finished my internship at the Cincinnati Zoo.
It was definitely an interesting experience I had there.
I'm so happy to have accomplished this,
and I feel more prepared to go out in to the adult world that I'm dreading.
Not only did I have some once-in-a-lifetime moments,
but I learned the ins-and-outs of what a career in Event Planning, Sales,
and Marketing can bring.

What I wanted most out of this summer with the zoo
was to really get a clear idea about what kind of jobs I want to apply for this year.
And I definitely gained that knowledge and more.

Thank you to all who supported me throughout this journey.
This all wouldn't have been possible without your love and prayers.

I'm ready to take on senior year!

----

Thursday, Fletchtop and I left for the ATL.
A long weekend road trip, but my only vacation for this summer!

The intention of the trip was to attend the Braves vs. Nats game,
but sadly, I didn't make it to either.
Stupid rain, always ruining my parade.

But it wasn't all bad, I truly enjoyed my short weekend I had in the peach state.

I got to visit with Fletchtop's family,
since I had not been down there in over a year.
I was due for a visit.

And Saturday, I got to meet some of my KMSS family!
It was so awesome getting the chance to meet these wonderful ladies.
Even though the rain kept us from admiring the beautiful invention of baseball pants,
our tailgating game was strong.

And my crowning moment...

I was named Best Blogger.
(Insert hair flip girl emoji here)
I seriously wanted to cry from this, thanks to a few Bud Lights,
but I was so excited, probably more than I should have.
I received so many compliments about my blog this weekend,
and it just made me more motivated to continue posting!

I'm sorry for a lack of pictures!
I'll definitely share some of my favorites when they become available.

And now I sit at home, back in the Nasty Nati,
blogging with my fat princess kitty by my side.
Not looking forward to yet again another busy week ahead.

I'm ready for calling it an early night,
and rising and grinding in the morning.
