Kiss My Southern Sass: One Year, One Family.

I know that I'm a few days late of writing this post, but in all honesty,
I needed to take those few days in order to really contemplate about what I wanted to say.
So, I'll begin by saying this...


It's my happy one year anniversary of becoming a sales representative for Kiss My Southern Sass.

It's so weird to think that just one year ago, I opened my MacBook, saw that the application was open for submissions, and not really understanding what I was getting myself into, applied.
And here I am, one whole year later, writing to you all about how it was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made in my short life. Sounds ridiculous, but it's 100 percent true.
It definitely places top along side choosing Western Kentucky University as my home for the last four years, pledging in to my sorority Sigma Kappa, and adopting my fat princess cat.

The reason this post was difficult for me to compose was because I honestly don't know how to put in to words for you to understand how much positive influence #KMSS has had over my life the past year. I've met some amazing friends, have gain so much experience when it comes to selling and knowing what's going to work in the business, and I've also had great experiences because of this company that I wouldn't take back for the world.

From the moment I received my email, confirming I had been chosen as a sales rep, I never once regretted accepting the position. I didn't know what to expect obviously, and I was super nervous because of it. But from the very first moment of becoming a part of this amazing company, I always felt welcomed and never a stranger.

This group of amazing ladies, all diverse and talented, have been there for me, much like a second sorority home. I sometimes think, when I talk about Kiss My Southern Sass to other people, they just look at me like I'm crazy and don't really understand how I could be so close to a bunch of people I essential met over the internet. To answer your question, I have no idea. I really don't.

I think the only answer I can provide people who question me about this part of my life is that I've got a thing for genuine people, and that's the greatest word I could possibly use to describe the women that form this company. I could think of more adjectives, but genuine is, hands down, the best one. They have strong beliefs, determination for success, and can conquer what's thrown to them.

I believe a reason I've taken so fond of this company is because, to start, they're supportive. Every one of us have had our share of demons over the past year, and when people needed prayers or advice, the reps were there, listening with open minds and hearts.They share stories that make you laugh, and those stories always seem to come on days where you just need to smile. They offer help in whatever you need: fashion, relationships, better sales tips, you name it.

From daily conversations on Facebook, to accidentals meeting on the beach in Panama City Beach, to our meet-up last August in Atlanta, Georgia that I excitedly got to attend, there's just never been a dull moment being part of this company. And I know there's more exciting moments to come during 2015.

As I'm approaching the end of my college career, I feel like I'll have 93 women on my side to help me when I need it, plus the incoming sales rep that will eventually join this great company and see what all the hype is about. Especially since I'm really considering making a big move after graduation, I feel as if I'll have a good friend wherever I go if that dream were to come true.

Thank you Kiss My Southern Sass for an awesome year, one I'll definitely never forget.
