Foundation Combination // Maybelline and Covergirl
Lately, my makeup has been making me so frustrated because I was incapable of finding a foundation
that matched my skin tone. I was either way top pale, but went with it. Or I was way too tan,
and instantly had to wash it off because I resembled Doritos. I've have been to drugstore and Ulta
religiously buying different shades, and finally my wallet and myself had enough.
I don't know what made me do it, but one day I just picked two, mixed, and applied.
And never have I been more satisfied with the way my makeup turned out.
In the Maybelline Fit Me, I use shade 310 and mix with Covergirl Tru Blend L-7.
It was match made in heaven.
Face Masks // Origins and Freeman
I have been really into skin care during the month of June. So masks have been an obsession.
The first being Origins Clear Improvement, which I don't know how I ever lived without.
The charcoal just sucks all that nasty stuff you don't want to think about being in your pores.
My pore have never looked smaller, especially on and around my nose.
The last being from Freeman because I'm in love with scrubs, but especially this one.
The Black Sugar and Polishing Mask just makes me feel as if I have brand new skin.
For this one, I actually apply it a few minutes before I shower, and rinse in there with the hot water.
Scrub // Bath and Body Works
Smell this, and tell me you're not obsessed right away? The scent is to die for.
Best purchase from Bath and Body Works thus far, besides my favorite candle scent.
I have been to every store near my location to find this during their Semi-Annual sale,
and sadly, I have been very unlucky. They might have discontinued, or stopped for summer flavors.
The scent // Bourbon Strawberry and Vanilla.
Blush // NYX Baked
In all honesty, this was a random purchase caused by a stressful day. But no buyer's remorse here!
I usually prefer a matte blush, only because I don't really like sparkle to be on my face,
but this actually has been a miracle in making my bronzer contour look on point.
It's not extremely pigmented in my opinion, but I think that's reason I ended up loving this product.
I don't personally feel as if my face and complexion can handle a lot of packed on blush,
and I just think I look weird and a tad clownish. So this has been a good match for me.
I use the shade called Chiffon.
iPhone 6 // Gold
This month I upgraded to the iPhone 6. Yes, not the plus. That's just too much.
And yes, I do realized that most Apple phone updates come out in the month of September.
I've covered the bases, and still decided to make the purchase. And so far, I'm fairly pleased.
The main reason I wanted the change was because I wanted a high storage option,
so I ended up getting the 64GB. I filled up 16GB too fast, so this was the better choice for me.
Even though a favorite, I do have one complaint. The phone seems to lag.
I'm honestly hoping it's just with the recent iOS upgrade that came out to support Apple Music.
And hopefully there's a bug fixing new one coming out in a few weeks.
Food // Outshine Fruit Bars
Summer time is here, which means a healthy diet of popsicles. I'm completely serious by the way.
These are so good that I don't even need to sit here and try to explain them to you.
Go to the grocery store of your choosing, and get these. Now.
The mango ones happen to be my favorite flavor.
(And yes, I took a picture of them on the floor. I needed a white background.)
Book // Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider
If you loved The Fault in Our Stars, you'll love this tale as well.
And if it tells you anything, I finished reading the book in less than 48 hours.
It only took me that long in the first place because I told myself to pace a little bit.
It's so good, and even though fictional, you want it to be real and for these characters to exist.
Even at almost 22 years old, I still love reading YA novels, but this one could be more many ages.
I don't really want to give too much of the plot away, but if you want a preview for what it is about,
the author has posted a book trailer on her YouTube page // CLICK HERE
Remedy // Be Koool
If you know me well, you know I suffer from very bad chronic migraine. I get them a lot too.
I've learned to cope on most days, but some times, there just doesn't seem to be no end in sight.
I recently took a trip to the drugstore and stumbled upon these Be Koool migraine soothing sheets.
Now, I definitely don't say these are a way of curing and getting rid of your migraine,
but they do definitely make you feel a little bit more relaxed and chilled out. No pun intended.
I've gone through a few of them recently, and have to say I do like using them if I have a migraine
right before I go to bed. I just place it on while I try to fall asleep, that's been the best.
Inexpensive, and I just picked mine up at my local Walgreens.
I cannot, I repeat cannot, stop listening to this. It's the song I want to play for my morning commute.
I know the reason that I dig this song so much is because 1) it doesn't sound like her, voice and style.
And 2) it's kind of sexy. Usually it takes me a few plays to really like a song, but this I liked instantly.
There's always a part of a song that grabs me, and that part is when she whispers...
"Don't tell your mother." I don't know why, but it makes that much better. For me, at least.
Close second // Cheerleader by Omi.

Update: I guess another favorite of mine would be I got a job! Like an actual job.
I'm in big kid world now and it's one of the scariest times in my life.
I'm hoping to be making a post about it real soon to give more detail.
But until then, I hope everyone has a wonderful and MERICA filled 4th of July weekend!
XOXO,
